Swansea

We LOVE Swansea!

After 4 hours on the M4, we finally saw the Lankyfella sign (or some such Welshness) which hailed our imminent arrival at Cornerstone Church.  And we were met by possibly the nicest, most helpful crowd you could hope to be met by.  Concerns that there were only 2 of us for set-up were soon allayed as the van was unloaded and the cathedral built before we even had time to get our bearings!  We normally mention a couple of folk for thanks, but this time they deserve a photo and we’ll name them all – Suzanne, Simon, Tim, Flic, Mike,

“Oh, we were hoping the chair would come” was a great sign to us that the web conversation is starting to build momentum, and we even had interest in the number of Sharpies that arrived!  We hardly needed to coerce anyone to capture their thoughts on camera from the orange chair (although Tim needed a little coaxing OUT of it), and we gained a willing Premier Radio contributor in Sarah, who will join Joel this Friday morning.

Simon was superb on the tech desk for us, and Joel was on form as always. Despite competing with the FA Cup Final we got a lively crowd who laughed and clapped in all the right places!  AND we left with half a bottle of white wine in our bag!  It doesn’t get better. Cheers Swansea.
