Alliance Notice Board - Advertising Rates, Terms and Conditions

Do you want to reach a large Evangelical Christian audience?

If you are looking to tell Christians about a Prayer initiative, a Job/Training Opportunity, a Christian Event, a Christian Resource or a wide range of Products & Services the Alliance Notice Board and/or the Alliance Notice Board (online) could be the solution.

Please note:
60% of our members fill leadership roles, which mean that Alliance Notice Board advertisers reach highly committed Christians who are likely to be decision makers within their fellowships.

The Alliance Notice Board:

The Alliance Notice Boardis mailed 6 times per year to 23,500 addresses with 34,000 copies of our membership magazine idea. To increase the notice board's effectiveness, we encourage our members to display it in their churches.

All bookings will get a free entry in the Alliance Notice Board (online) for up to 3 months.

Graphics should be supplied to the following specification:

  • Maximum sizes: 4 cm. high - 9 cm. wide - 10 sq. cm. total.
  • High resolution JPG, PDF, or TIF of graphic at minimum 300dpi.

The closing dates for booking entries in the next two issues are as follows:

Tuesday 2 February - for the Mar/Apr 2010 edition; for mailing on Monday 22 February 2010
Tuesday 6 April - for the May/June 2010 edition; for mailing on Monday 26 April 2010 

As space is limited, entries will be accepted in the order entries are received (on a first come first served basis).

The Alliance Notice Board (online):

The Alliance Notice Board (online) can be found on the Evangelical Alliance website [www.eauk.org/anb]. 

All bookings include a free web and email link.

Graphics should be supplied, preferably, in JPG or GIF format at a minimum of 96dpi.

Booking can be made at any time and run for a minimum period of one calendar month.

Rates (excluding VAT):

Alliance Notice Board:

  • Text – £1.70 per word
  • Graphic/Logo – £5.50 per sq. cm.
  • Graphic handling - £10 (for each new graphic only)

Minimum Charge: £85 (for 50 words)
10% discount available for consecutive bookings in three editions
20% discount available for consecutive bookings in four or more editions

Price includes a free entry in the Alliance Notice Board (on line) from date of booking until end of cover month; max 3 months.

Alliance Notice Board (online):

First month:

  • Text – 60p per word
  • Graphic/Logo – £10 per graphic
  • One web link – Free
  • One email link – Free
  • Other web or email links – £5 each

Subsequent months (or part of), when booked with initial order:

  • Repeat Text and Graphic – £15 per month

Minimum Charge: £30 (for 50 words) or £40 (for 50 words + £10 with one logo/graphic)
10% discount when booking for six months
20% discount when booking for twelve months

Other costs:

  • Amendments Text – £10
  • Additional Text – £10 + 60p per word
  • Change Graphic/Logo – £10 per graphic

Advertising Criteria:

  • All entries should be for the purpose of equipping, informing or resourcing the Alliance's members.
  • Entries will be declined if the advertiser engages in activities that conflict with the Alliance's Basis of Faith or the advertisement is likely to cause scandal or damage to the Alliance's reputation.
  • The Evangelical Alliance reserves the right to accept or refuse entries for the Alliance Notice Board or the Alliance Notice Board (online) at its discretion.

Terms:

Payment:

  • Under £100 in advance by cheque.
  • Over £100 strictly 30 days from date of invoice.
  • First time advertisers may be asked to pay in advance regardless of amount.

Cancellation Charges:

Alliance Notice Board

  • A fee of £20 to cover administration costs will be applied when orders withdrawn after the booking confirmation has been issued.
  • A fee of 100% of the booking charge will be applied when orders withdrawn after the closing date for booking entries.

Alliance Notice Board (online)

  • A fee of £20 to cover administration costs will be applied when orders withdrawn after the booking confirmation has been issued.
  • A fee of 100% of the booking charge will be applied when orders withdrawn after the entry has appeared on line.

Agencies:

  • A 10% fee will be paid to bona fide agencies subject to invoices being strictly paid within the payment terms.

Value Added Tax:

  • VAT will be charged at the prevailing rate, unless we are in receipt of a certificate; certifying that the advertisement is eligible for Charity Advertising status for VAT (item 8 of Zero Rate Group 15 schedule 8 of the VAT Act 5th April 2004).
