Practice Manager for GP Medical Centre

Here is an opportunity to join a great staff team in one of the top GP practices in Harrow

St Peters Medical Centre is looking for an experienced manager to head up the management side of the organisation. We are a 3 GP Partner practice with 6500 patients and a current growth rate of 12.5% p.a.

The practice is located within St Peters church premises, with which it has well established and developing links.

We are a Christian-based and person-centred organisation with a big vision for the future.

The post is for 37.5 hours a week (salary £35 to £42,500 depending on experience). Previous NHS experience is not essential.

The post holder together with the GP Partners will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the strategic direction of the Practice
  • The overall efficiency and profitability of the Practice
  • Leading the change agenda
  • Maintaining positive relationships with outside bodies
  • Documenting working practices and advising on best practice

Vacancy for Resident Warden/Handyman

Vacancy for a Resident Warden/Handyman at Hebron Hall Christian Centre from September/October 2012.

Details of the Centres respective ministries is on our web site, www.hebronhall.org.   The Centre employs 60 full and part time staff.

The post involves responsibility for the oversight and running of the Centre out of office hours on weeknights, some weekends and bank holidays plus handyman duties.  Reporting directly to the General Manager.  

Annual salary £15,347, subject to review in April.  

The dwelling, built in 1964, is self contained with gas central heating and uPVC Double glazing with pleasant views.  Comprising entrance hall, lounge/diner, kitchen and additional reception room, three bedrooms and modern bathroom.     

Rent is payable to Hebron Hall, as are gas and electricity charged on meter readings.  Water charges are at an assessed cost.  Council tax and telecoms are paid directly to the providers.

Appointment is subject to enhanced CRB check and satisfactory references.

HR Manager

Founded in 1946, the United Bible Societies (UBS) is a federation of 146 autonomous national agencies which together undertake Bible mission in over 200 countries and territories.

We are a worldwide inter confessional fellowship, working with all Christian Churches - Protestant, Catholic and Orthodox. The international staff organisation supporting the federation is currently being restructured and will eventually number just under 100 people worldwide.

The HR manager will be responsible for the personnel operations affecting these people; a demonstrable commitment to the mission and ethos.

Location

In the first instance the post will be based in the World Service Centre in central Reading.  Within 12 months a new office location will be determined probably in the Swindon-Reading-Crawley corridor.  Limited home working will be considered.

Salary

In the range £29,000-£34,000 depending on experience
