The role of House Team Leader is just one part of Lee Abbey community life.  You will also take an active role in the worship, creative and serving aspects of community life.  The position is residential with an allowance, accommodation and full board provided. Membership of the Lee Abbey Community is an essential requirement of the post.

The position would initially be on a three-year contract and is currently only available to single people due to accommodation limitations.

Responsibilities will include maintaining regular contact with existing overseas partners; managing the day-to-day administration of the grant-making programme; maintaining an up-to-date information resource on overseas partners; and co-ordinating and arranging itineraries for all overseas visits by BibleLands' trustees and staff.

The successful candidate will have proficiency in spoken and written English, good numeracy skills and experience of working in an administrative role. He/she will also be computer-literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, be attentive to detail and able to prioritise and organise workloads.

Lead GP: To be integral to the set up and culture setting of the practice. This person needs to have a desire to provide excellent clinical care and have the vision of providing whole person care within a wider team. An experience GP looking for an opportunity to deliver social justice through healthcare, who can grasp a unique opportunity to set up a practice from scratch (6-9 sessions a week).

Salaried GPs: To support the lead GP and to provide excellent clinical and whole person care, we are looking for a GP to take hold of the vision and deliver a transformational practice together with other staff. (4-9 sessions a week)

Practice Nurse (0.7): To work as part of a team to provide care in chronic disease management, immunisations and baby clinics

Nurse Practitioner (0.3): To provide a service for walk in patients

Healthcare Assistants (2 posts FT/PT): To provide support to nurses and GPs and hold clinics such as taking blood after full training

Receptionists (3+ posts FT/PT): Face to face contact with patient and clerical duties to ensure smooth running of the practice.
