The Role

This is a unique opportunity to head up our human rights research and advocacy team which provides a voice for victims of religious persecution and injustice across the world. 

Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW) is a human rights organisation which specialises in religious freedom, works on behalf of those persecuted for their Christian beliefs and promotes religious liberty for all.

Besides day to day management you will have an ability to think strategically as well as deliver effective strategic plans through the dedicated team of professionals which you will lead.  Our advocacy team focuses on meticulous research, advocacy, campaigns, public affairs and media.

The role involves working closely with the CEO on the strategic direction of CSW. You will be based in our offices in South West London, but some travel will be expected to visit our countries of focus.


The Person

You will be a committed Christian with at least a 2.1 degree, a passion for human rights, proven experience of political lobbying at national level, and ability to think strategically and deliver effective strategic plans through effective team leadership.  Knowledge of the not-for-profit and NGO sector is essential.

The position falls within the definition of a Genuine Occupational Requirement for the work to be undertaken by a committed Christian and you will need to have prior permission to reside and work in the UK.

Prospects is a Christian mission that values and supports people with learning disabilities so that they live their lives to the full.

The Mission Development Team seeks to make the love of God known to the 1.5 million people with learning disabilities in the UK. This is largely achieved through awareness raising and equipping local churches for effective Bible teaching, worship and support.

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Christian with a vision for including people with learning disabilities in local churches. You will take a lead role in raising awareness among churches of all denominations in your region and provide training and encouragement in setting up local church-based ministry groups. You will be a self starter with initiative and be a strong communicator with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills. Computer literate and car driver essential.
