We are United
The Evangelical Alliance has a brand new unity advertising campaign created especially for the World Cup season entitled 'We are united'. It is the first of its kind. We are asking members and supporters to forward the campaign email on to friends, spreading the word about the Alliance and visiting the webpage at www.weareuniteduk.org.
The aim is to raise awareness and stimulate interest in the Alliance as an organisation that exists to promote and encourage unity amongst churches as Christ prayed in John 17.
We would love for you to engage with this campaign through our Facebook page and Twitter and hopefully influence a decision for those who are not yet members to join the Alliance.
Steve Clifford, General Director of the Evangelical Alliance, whose passion for unity amongst churches has really driven this campaign, said: 'Again and again I am reminded that, in God's strength, the local Church truly is the hope of the world. That is why I need you to join in with the Evangelical Alliance - working together in unity with over 3,3000 churches and 700 organisations, as part of a Christ-centred movement to transform society.'
The Biblefresh initiative, set up by the Evangelical Alliance to help churches gain a confidence and passion for God's word, is a pioneering example of churches uniting. Biblefresh is calling churches across the country to fall in love with the Bible again and to take that passion and use it to transform the communities they are called to reach.
The 'We are united' advertising campaign will conclude with the ending of the World Cup. However, it is through initiatives the Evangelical Alliance is involved in, such as Biblefresh, that the message of unity lives on, just as Christ prayed over 2000 years ago.
