2016 CEO Forum: In perfect harmony
As a CEO you spend a lot of time thinking strategically. But your best plans are of little use unless your board, leadership team, staff and stakeholders buy into and support them. Relationships are key to making your strategies succeed. This forum will use recent case studies from UK based Christian organisations, facilitated discussion and your own experience to explore how to develop and implement strategy through relationships at every level of our diverse organisations.
Venue and Format
We will again use the conference centre at Yarnfield Park. Those who attended last year found the meeting rooms, internet access, food and accommodation all to be of a high standard. Travel is to Yarnfield Park is easy – just 10 minutes from J14 of the M6; or there are trains every 30 minutes from London to Stafford which take 75 minutes. More details can be found on their website www.yarnfieldpark.com
We will start at lunchtime on Wednesday 5 October, a full programme is available here. There will be lots of time to talk and listen and pray with others.
“As a Christian leader I value the opportunity to pause, hear from God, and meet with others in similar roles. And it’s vital that we consider how we are led by the Spirit in these roles. However pressured my diary is around the Forum dates, I always come away encouraged and challenged – and pleased that I planned to go.” Ruth Whitaker, CEO, MAF UK
Cost is £129 for Global Connections and Evangelical Alliance Members - £179 for non-members.
All accommodation is in single en-suite rooms. Meals provided are lunch and dinner on 5th October, and breakfast and lunch on 6th October, as well as tea and coffee during the breaks. Let us know if you have any special dietary requirements.
Cancellation Policy: The majority of the cost of a residential event is the accommodation charge which we have to pay to the conference centre well in advance of the event. Therefore, although we will aim to be as generous as possible with our refunds, they will normally only consist of a small proportion of the amount paid and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
