CICC

The call on God's people to understand the culture in which we live, and to engage biblically with contemporary issues and people, has never been greater. The Cymru Institute for Contemporary Christianity (CICC) is committed to helping Christians in this vital task through a dynamic events programme.

CICC is a coalition which helps Christians have a greater understanding of how the Bible plays out in life today. It was launched by the Alliance in 2010 and also has the support of the South Wales Baptist College, CARE, the Bible Society, the Aberystwyth Academy for Christian Discipleship and local churches across the nation.

CICC has its origins in the Cardiff Institute for Contemporary Christianity which ran from March 2002 to December 2006. However, the inspiration for CICC came from the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity, established by the Rev Dr John Stott.
