Yemi Adedeji

Rev Yemi Adedeji, director, One People Commission

Rev Yemi Adedeji's passion is to discover, build relationships with, and connect leaders. He started his career as a commercial manager at Marks & Spencer and joined UK charity the Church Mission Society in 2002 as new relationships adviser and later trustee director. In 2009, he became CEO of MtG Consultant, developing strategic advisory and relational connections, as well as advising leaders and their teams in transformational development. He is also associate director for HOPE, a global ambassador for Compassion UK and strategic adviser for many church leaders across UK. He is closely involved with Jesus House London, a dynamic and entrepreneurial church/social enterprise charity operating locally in north London and part of the worldwide network of Redeemed Christian Church of God. He is ordained both as an Anglican priest and a Pentecostal pastor. Married to Simi, a lawyer and a magistrate, and has four daughters.

Steve Clifford

Steve Clifford, general director, Evangelical Alliance

Steve Clifford has been general director of the Evangelical Alliance since January 2009. He is chair of HOPE Together and has previously been international chair of March for Jesus and chair of the leadership team for Soul Survivor. Steve continues to give advice, training and support to churches and has worked in a variety of church roles, including many among the Pioneer network of churches. Currently, he is a member of the leadership team at his local church.

Chine Mbubaegbu

Chine Mbubaegbu (DIRECTOR OF communications, Evangelical Alliance)

Chine looks after the media side of the One People Commission. She joined the Evangelical Alliance as editor in November 2010 from her previous roles as editor at the Crown Prosecution Service and reporter at the Reading Evening Post. She read theology at Cambridge University, where she was also news editor of the university newspaper Varsity. Since then, she has written for several regional and national newspapers and magazines. She has a passion for reporting religion’s impact on society and is an associate at Lapido Media, and is on the boards of the Bible Society, the Christian Enquiry Agency, the Sophia Network and the Church & Media Network. She is the author of Am I Beautiful? - a book exploring body image and faith among Christian women,
