This week is a week of prayer in many European countries. The European Evangelical Alliance (EEA) has called for a week of prayer and reflection based on The Lord's Prayer.

Perhaps you could spend some time each day reflecting on a phrase of the

Lords' prayer and praying for our brothers and sisters in other countries across Europe…

Prayer of unity

Almighty God, we thank you for the miracle of the Church: people who have encountered your amazing presence from every generation and cultural group. We thank you that through prayer we can join together across boundaries, encouraging and supporting each other as part of one body and together see your kingdom advance.

We thank you for this prayer initiative and ask that you would bless it by revealing more of your beautiful and holy presence to all those who will be involved.

We ask for the gospel of grace to be proclaimed and incarnated in the lives of your people across Europe. Lord may your church find greater boldness and receive a fresh

outpouring of your Holy Spirit.
