Psalm 10: Prayer reflection
In the short term it looks like evil flourishes. Arrogance, violence, greed. Violence seems to be the badge of the successful. The weak and poor are crushed. Many weep silent tears in a hopeless appeal for justice. Does no one see? Does nobody care? You, O God are King for ever. You will judge the nations. You defend the fatherless. The oppressed have a friend in you. A day will come when your majesty will be revealed and the whole earth will praise you.
Lord, you are King forever. You see all things, hear all cries and you never forget. I place my trust in you and in your coming kingdom.
