Psalm 9: Prayer reflection

Psalm 9: Prayer reflection

It is so easy to get caught up in the negative. It is a downward cycle that plunges me into despair. I think about those words and situations all day then they get magnified all through the night. It is so easy to focus on the bruises inflicted upon me, to lose confidence. I decide to switch my gaze away from myself and my enemies onto you God. I will no longer mull over, the critical, the negative or the hurtful. I choose to focus upon you. I will speak of you, my God. I will tell of all your wonders and the greatness of your glory. My decision is to be a person of praise.

Prayer

Lord, I worship you. You are beautiful, wonderful and faithful. Fill my heart with songs of praise. Make me a person of praise. Help me to break the chains of negativity and run into the light of your presence.

Amen
