Prayer guide 2013
season of Prayer in 2013
We believe that we are better together, which is why at the Evangelical Alliance we are committed to unity and prayer. We really believe that prayer makes a difference and we want to bless you, encourage and inspire you to be the good news in your towns, villages and cities.
Instead of our usual Advent Prayer guide, this year we are joining with HOPE and their season of prayer. Our partner organisation HOPE, has worked with UCB to produce this diary to help us pray for our community and nation as we prepare for HOPE 2014, a whole year of word and action mission.
Can you imagine the impact that could be made if thousands of Christians pray together every day from 18 October till 31 January? The HOPE season of prayer was launched at the Festival of Life on 18 October.
Get involved in HOPE 2014 by partnering with other churches and reaching out through evangelism and practical projects in your community.
Last year’s Advent Prayer guide reflected on what good news to the poor and freedom to the captives means. We looked at how we, the Church, can be good news to those in need at Christmas. The previous year more than 25,000 people used Advent Prayer and asked God to bless the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games.
