Keswick Ministries set to grow

Evangelical Alliance member Keswick Ministries is launching a plan for development of the ministry, made possible by the purchase of land next to their existing property.

Keswick Ministries have seen continued growth and hope to see the annual Convention, which hosts more that 12,000 people, take place on a larger and more integrated site.

The purchase, called The Derwent Project, will also allow the construction of a permanent conference centre on the new site, which will host teaching and training events year-round, as well as being available for local and regional groups.

John Risbridger, chair of the trustees, said: “As a Council we are very excited about the opportunities the Derwent Project brings.

"The Derwent Project will allow more people to join us and will provide our supporters with the much requested additional smaller scale teaching events at different times of the year. We can clearly see the cascading effect the Derwent Project has: the Convention on a larger site, a conference centre resourcing churches and a local venue for meetings.”

Keswick Ministries have been going for 140 years and seek to resource Christians not only through the three weeks of the Convention, but also through books and digital media.
