Porn scars

One in four web searches are for porn, content on one in five web pages is porn, and there are over 100,000 sites containing child pornography.

Porn is a plague on society but it is also paralysing the Church. In response to this,  Porn Scars is an initiative to clean up the Church of pornography, to share information about the harm it causes and help churches to know how to respond.

In Northern Ireland, 22 per cent of Christian respondents to a marriage week survey in 2010 said they had intentionally accessed pornography. This rose to 65 per cent for men under 35, and half of male church leaders aged between 25-55 had chosen to look at porn.
