I was born in Brighton, but I have ancestors from India, Sri Lanka and Ireland and before I came to the Alliance I was lecturing in theology and mission at Oxford University.

I joined the Alliance in September 2007 and my title is executive director: churches in mission which basically means I get to do all I can to excite, encourage and connect the churches together in mission.

I have the privilege of getting to see the amazing things God has been doing around the country in all sorts of churches, hearing stories of hope and transformation as lives and communities and even cities are changed by the gospel.

The Alliance is a really diverse, energetic team and there's a shared vision that drives us to do all we can to get the church working together. If that's your passion then come and join the family.
