Why become a personal member?

As our personal member, you are connected to a network of evangelicals working together for mission locally, nationally and globally. We invest in you by keeping you up-to-date with what God is doing through his people, offering you support and resources to help you live out your faith and acting as your voice to government and the media.

By joining as a personal member, you will:

  • become part of the Alliance's vast network and gain access to our members' combined expertise
  • be sent a copy of idea magazine for members every two months, to inform you about what God is doing across the UK
  • receive our Headlines e-letter every two weeks, highlighting relevant events, resources and the latest news from the Alliance
  • have access to a variety of equipping resources to help you to live out your faith
  • be informed about UK-wide campaigns and notified about issues key to our faith, to pray for and take action
  • become part of a movement to transform our society, together with other believers

As well as these benefits we are working hard to offer exciting new additions to help us to fulfil our calling as the worshipping, praying missionary people of God.

With each person who decides to stand with the Alliance, we become more effective in speaking and acting on your behalf - and more representative of the whole evangelical church scene in the UK. So our voice, as Christians, gets stronger. And as we become the answer to Jesus' prayer for a united Church, we are better at changing our communities and reflecting the love of God.

So come with us. Because we're better together.

What does it take to become a member?

All members are asked to agree with our Basis of Faith.

We look to you to support our work in prayer and with a membership donation of minimum £25 a year (or £2.50 a month – the price of a cup of coffee) and minimum £5 from unwaged and retired members.

Students get a complimentary first year membership and are asked for £5 a year per year of study thereafter.

Your generosity is key to our success as a unity movement. If you're unable to contribute the guideline amount, please make a prayerfully considered donation you can afford. From time to time we also send appeals to our members when tackling particular key issues or challenges and need your backing.
