Jo Frost to take up director role at the Evangelical Alliance.

The Evangelical Alliance is delighted to announce the appointment of Jo Frost as director of communications and marketing.

Jo comes to the Alliance from a background in communications consultancy, having worked with businesses and organisations on developing communications strategies and brand support.

Her role has involved helping organisations understand and connect with their audience to achieve their objectives; key clients have included Bible Society and the Lumo Project.

Prior to her consultancy work, Jo led brand and campaigning work with Alliance member Release International with a particular focus on teenagers and young people.

Jo is a well-known speaker at events such as Spring Harvest and New Wine.

Jo will oversee the strategic direction of the Alliance's communications and marketing, developing the Alliance's voice in equipping the Church in unity, mission and advocacy.

Jo said: "I'm delighted to be joining the Evangelical Alliance at such an exciting time. I feel honoured to help share the many good news stories from across the country with people loving their communities and impacting people's lives. I am thrilled to be a part of this esteemed organisation as we seek to serve the church and the UK society at large."

Steve Clifford, general director of the Alliance, said: "We are absolute delighted that Jo will be joining the leadership team here at the Alliance as our director of communications.

"Jo comes to us with far ranging experience as a communications and marketing professional, but is also a well-known speaker at a multitude of national and international Christian events including Spring Harvest New Wine and Creation Fest."

Jo is married to Andy Frost – a member of the Alliance's council – and together they have two young daughters. She will take up the post on Monday, 11 September 2017.

The Evangelical Alliance
We are the largest and oldest body representing the UK’s two million evangelical Christians. For more than 165 years, we have been bringing Christians together and helping them listen to, and be heard by, the government, media and society. We’re here to connect people for a shared mission, whether it’s celebrating the Bible, making a difference in our communities or lobbying the government for a better society. From Skye to Southampton, from Coleraine to Cardiff, we work across 79 denominations, 3,500 churches, 750 organisations and thousands of individual members. And we're not just uniting Christians within the UK – we are a founding member of the World Evangelical Alliance, a global network of more than 600 million evangelical Christians.
