Meet, Live, Praise

Meet, Live, Praise

This is a new, Christian Women's Conference organised by Rhiwbina Baptist Church. The title is inspired by Liz Gilbert's book - Eat, Pray, Love. It reflects the goal to

  • See Christian women MEET together,
  • To PRAISE God and
  • To enrich how we LIVE for Him.

The overarching theme for the day is to see women realise their innate value in God.

The keynote speaker is Marijke Hoek from the Evangelical Alliance. Marijke is coordinator for the Forum for Change and a published author.

The music will be a time of worship led by Becky Frith and Leah Broomfield from YWAM. They are both gifted and professional musicians.

Through a mixture of seminars and smaller workshops, delegates will explore topics ranging from careers to women in the Bible. There will also be opportunities to spend time networking and getting to know one another, and indulging in a spot of many women's favourite hobby - shopping. There will be stalls from a few local Christian enterprises that women can purchase early Christmas presents, or something for themselves as a reminder of their day.

The day promises to be a delight of meeting, praising and living with women together.

Conference organiser, Tess Saltmarsh, said: "This day will bring many women together and it will be a time for celebration, fun and making new friendships. Women as well as men are made in the image of God, and this will be an opportunity to understand how healthy living is rooted in a good relationship with God."

The conference is being held at Cardiff International Hotel (formerly the Quality Hotel). More information is available from www.rbc.ac (Future Events page) or by emailing rbcwomensconference@gmail.com or phone the church office on 02920.623791
