An Agenda for Change

A global call for spiritual & social transformation

An Agenda for Change - by Joel EdwardsJoel Edwards, Evangelical Alliance General Director.Joel Edwards will be making a final tour, as General Director the Alliance, of the United Kingdom connecting with Alliance members, using a combination of DVD presentation, preaching and interactive discussion to explain and explore the contents of his new book An Agenda for Change.

In the book Joel issues a call for unity amongst evangelicals and argues that Biblical witness is not called to tip-toe through the 21st century, but to transform society by presenting Christ credibly to the culture. He sets out a new vision for evangelicalism reclaiming the idea that evangelicals are a 'good news' people called to a long term vision for spiritual and social change.

That’s why I was thrilled when SAF wanted to partner with Hope going forward to 2014 , working together through words and actions. When we can embrace our diversity but focus our unity on the purposes of Christ and his mission, there God blesses as found in Psalm 133 and John 17. It is when we see the big picture of the Kingdom of God, that we are part of the same family, that God blesses communities.
