Micah Sunday 2007

(To view the video online you will need to have Adobe's Flash Player version 8 or higher, it is available as a Free Download)

This autumn join with Christians around the world as the global Micah Challenge movement celebrates Micah Sunday 07. The official date is 14 October but you can hold Micah Sunday 07 any time from October through to the end of the year.

Micah Sunday 07 will be a chance to look at God’s heart for justice, mercy and humility and our response to the injustices we find in the world around us. It will also be a time to take practical steps towards the alleviation of poverty, looking in particular at the HIV and AIDS epidemic, asking the Government to act on this pressing issue.

We will provide everything you need to hold Micah Sunday 07 in your church, from sermon themes and creative prayer and worship ideas through to practical ways to engage with the issues.

Be a part of this worldwide movement and sign up to hold Micah Sunday 07 in your church this coming autumn.

The UK Church: Big shots, wimps or just humble servants?
Recent comments by American pastor and author Mark Driscoll regarding the state of Britain’s church leaders in a Christianity magazine interview have spawned a barrage of protests, but also a few defenders, from Christians on this side of the pond. To get to the heart of the debate, we asked two British pastors to answer this question: Do we really need more well-known, influential Bible teachers in Britain?
