MDN Fusion seminar
Perplexing Points made Simple is a half day seminar which will equip HR professionals and employers with an understanding of the Government’s new system and its implications for employers.
Thursday, July 24, 2008
Methodist International Centre
81 – 103 Euston Street London NW1 2EZ
As an employer you may not yet be aware of the serious implications for you of the sweeping new changes in the law and policy relating to the employment of non European Economic Area (EEA) nationals which are set out in recent legislation and the new Points Based Immigration System. If you are aware, do they seem complex, difficult to understand and a little threatening?
This seminar will explain:
- the new processes that must be followed to bring non EEA employees to the UK.
- how an employer may obtain and retain the mandatory prior licence.
- the steps necessary to bring a non EEA employee to the UK.
- the new responsibilities placed on employers to aintain appropriate records and communicate with the UK Border and Immigration Agency.
- how to ensure that your present workforce is immigration compliant.
- how to recruit and appoint safely so that you comply with the stringent requirements to prevent illegal working and avoid the severe penalties and consequences of failing to do so.
The seminar tutor is an experienced immigration professional who regularly provides advice on immigration related employment matters to our clients and solicitors.
Thursday 24th July 9:30am and 2pm
Seminar Fees: £99 + VAT
