Personnel & Human Resources Network Regional Conferences

Are you responsible in any way for personnel or HR in your church or organisation?
This is an opportunity for you to network with others working in a similar context.

You are invited to a regional conference considering:

Recruitment & selection in Christian organisations and churches

Each session will be led by one of the network solicitors (Doug Mullen, Paul Roberts and Mark Jones) who will address the legal issues, alongside Sheila Jones and Sue Jutsum who will look at good practice.

The legal perspective will cover issues particularly relevant for Christian organisations, such as advertising, recruitment and discrimination issues and will look at the implications of Tribunal decisions to date.

Good practice will cover recent research on advertising, necessary paperwork, the interview process and appointment issues.

  • 13 May 2008 at Anthony Collins Solicitors, Birmingham
  • 20 May 2008 at Trinity College, Bristol
  • 5 June 2008 at Evangelical Alliance, London

The ticket price for each venue, which includes a sandwich lunch, is £40 per person. Sessions will run from 10.00am to 2.00pm. Additional information, including directions to the venue, will be sent to you via email, so please ensure we have a correct email address for you.
