I may be biased but I am excited just thinking about Kingdom Come and the potential it has for encouraging many in leadership across our churches and also helping us build even more bridges and foster even better relationships.
Pray that churches will see the value in supporting a team to go - we have taken the significant financial risk of reducing the price from 2006 as we seek to stand with each other in difficult economic times. Above all, pray that God would be pleased to use Kingdom Come to refresh, restore and revitalise the ministry of many who serve us in a whole range of ways in the high calling of leadership in the church of Jesus Christ.
Kingdom Come prices
Early bird booking form price of £80 per person for those booking before the 4th December 2009. From 5th December 2009 it will be £100 per person.
Kingdom Come is geared for all in any kind of church leadership - ministers, youth workers, elders, deacons, youth leaders, lay leaders and anyone else who feels they need to benefit from the variety of ministry on offer!
Our hope is that churches will send teams together and even cover the financial outlay to enable key people to come and maybe that's especially true for lay leaders. If they are prepared to take time off work to attend the conference perhaps the church would reflect that commitment by paying for them - just a thought.
Maybe it also provides an opportunity for partnership with other churches or Christian organisations who might be struggling financially in the current climate. Why not seek out a smaller church or Christian worker that your church could support by paying for them to attend Kingdom Come? What a great way to show true Christian love.
