Livability
Livability was formed in 2007 as a result of the merger between John Grooms and the Shaftesbury Society. It is one of the largest Christian charities providing local churches with the resources, advice and confidence to bring life to their community as well as offering a wide range of innovative services which support and empower disabled people. We believe in putting our faith into action and challenging injustice.
Livability produces a wide range of resources and hosts regular training days all designed to equip the church. You can find information about all these activities on this site. We also have a team of people who work directly with churches as community mission advisors to help them mobilise and develop their local community work.
For more information on our work with churches please contact our Coordinator Jill Clark on 020 7452 2018 or email her on jclark@livability.org.uk
