Reach: Give Friday

This weeks video is a little different - the clue is in the title!

Our vision here at Evangelical Alliance is to see Northern Ireland transformed by the good news of Jesus Christ as we seek to serve and represent churches, organisations and individuals, building unity and speaking into society. Jesus prays for his disciples in John 17, that they will be united so that the world might believe. He also prays that his followers might engage with the world without compromising their faith. The prayer is a call for a Church united in mission; confident and effective in voice.

We want to see the Church more united in its mission as we partner with our member churches and organisations as they lead others to Jesus. We are investing in the next generation of leaders through events that we run and our internship programme. Finally, we want to communicate the good news stories of what God is doing across the Church.

The biblical story has radically changed culture and we are called to do the same. We seek to speak truth in grace and love to government and society. EA is now established as a well-trusted Christian voice, informing and challenging on issues such as marriage, pornography, adoption, fostering and abortion. We have been successful in influencing legislation and policy in areas such as trafficking and abortion and offering a different voice on the big issues such as the Ashers case and the same-sex marriage debates.

God cares deeply about the Church in Northern Ireland - and so do we. So today I am inviting you to invest in a Northern Ireland transformed by the good news of Jesus Christ, unified and confident in voice.
