Theology

Don't Be a Stranger is not only inspired by today's personal stories of people who have moved to the UK, but is also rooted in the ancient Biblical mandate to love our neighbour, and care for the stranger in our midst.

The Evangelical Alliance theology department has written three short articles to provide a theological background to the chosen theme, "Don't be a Stranger."

Two of the pieces focus on an understanding of this theme from the Old Testament and the New Testament, while the third piece focuses on the politics of immigration. We hope that these articles will provide an insight into how the Bible can inform our understanding of the topic, and from this help us determine what an appropriate response might be.
