Community Mission

Numerous resources from understanding the needs of your local community to reviewing and evaluating your involvement. This section includes resources on listening to the community, working with others  and managing projects:

Creedireland 

Creed exists to serve and help churches to grow and to be more effective in living out and promoting faith in Christ, by enabling them to implement a vision for their ministry and outreach to the local community.

Faithworks

A series of practical guides to equip churches and organisations to serve their local communities professionally, in a way that is consistent with their Christian ethos.   

Nehemiah Foundation

Arising out of a desire to see regeneration in areas of urban deprivation in ways that connect with people at a neighbourhood level, the Foundation works with local organisations to support and train regeneration workers over an 18 month period, who develop a plan for their community to enable lasting transformation.  

Redeeming our Communities

Resources to help churches build strategic partnerships in the communities e.g. with the police, in order to see their local areas transformed.  

Together We Can

A government campaign to bring government and people closer together, encouraging public bodies to do more to enable people to influence local decisions. Includes an action plan document  and a directory of resources.    

Prayer

As you take up the challenge of Square Mile, living out your faith in every sphere of life and seeking transformation in the lives of those around you, prayer has to be the foundation.

A prayer movement which exists to bring transformation through Christ-centred and mission-minded prayer.
