ACUTE

One of the most important aspects of the Theology Department is the work of the Alliance Commission on Unity and Truth among Evangelicals (ACUTE), which was set up by the Evangelical Alliance to work for a biblical consensus on controversial issues where division threatens evangelical unity, or where a public issue requires a theological basis for a united evangelical response. ACUTE draws together eminent theologians and church leaders from different traditions throughout the UK, to produce papers on specific issues ranging from hell and sexuality to charismatic phenomena and prosperity teaching.

ACUTE is headed by Justin Thacker, the Head of Theology at the Evangelical Alliance.
