Christians are knocking the millennium, and it’s not hard to see why. Politically correct pluralism at the dome obscures the true meaning of ‘2000 AD’. Creeping secularisation sidelines George’s Carey’s prayers at the Greenwich New Year bash. Godless education means that more schoolkids associate ‘millennium’ with a Robbie Williams song than with Jesus Christ. On one level these are genuine concerns.
