Do you want to help shape church, politics and culture in Scotland? Do you have a passion to see a strong and healthy Church and a faithful Christian presence in the public square? How about an internship with Evangelical Alliance?

We are looking for at least two interns who will focus on areas that they are passionate about, such as mission, prayer, public policy, public leadership, communications and social media. 

The internships will run from early September 2019 until the end of June 2020. They will operate up to three days per week and may involve some evening and weekends. 

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • A passion for the unity of the church 
  • A passion for Christian influence in the public square 
  • A relevant undergraduate degree or equivalent experience 
  • Good oral and written communication skills An eye for design and computer skills to match 
  • Excellent organisational skills 
  • A personal Christian faith and able to support the ethos and aims of the Evangelical Alliance 

In turn you will receive:

A bursary equivalent to the living wage, normal workplace expenses covered, and a ten-month growth and development programme. You will work closely with the Evangelical Alliance Scotland team to develop national projects, gaining access to our national network of churches. You will also be a participant on the Public Leader: Scotland programme, and gain practical experience and responsibility in a variety of tasks. Finally, you will have the chance to complete a major project in an area of your interest.
