The Guardian newspaper's GuardianWitness site, which allows members of the public to upload their own content, wants pictures and videos of vibrant and diverse church congregations.

On Monday 27 May, the site will launch a new section called 'British Christians' and wants to show the vast variety of worshippers that congregate each week in Christian communities. The Guardian say they want 'people rather than buildings' and are looking for as wide a range of people as possible who gather as Christians.

To help upload your images and videos, there is an app, which can be downloaded onto iPhones or Android devices.
