You're invited to reach the world on your doorstep
The Evangelical Alliance, London City Mission and Global Connections, along with a number of other agencies, are working together to present a day of teaching, training, encouragement, prayer, sharing resources and ideas to help churches and individuals to engage with people around them of different faiths and cultures.
This event will be held on Wednesday, 23 November 2016, from 10am to 4pm, at St Jude’s Church, St Mellitus College, London.
Tickets cost £25 per person and include lunch and a free copy of Dewi Hughes' book Evangelicals and the Religions - A theological resource for mission, published by the Evangelical Alliance.
The day is being designed especially for London Churches, but much of what is presented will be equally relevant to other places.
The day will include plenary speakers, testimonies, case studies, workshops, teaching, interviews and an excellent opportunity to see relevant displays and resources from mission agencies and possibly some colleges.
Contributors include: Gavin Calver, director of mission at the Evangelical Alliance, Martin Lee from Global Connections and Graham Miller from London City Mission.
Workshops on the day will look at the following topics: Islam, Hinduism and Sikhism, mission on the streets, multicultural church, refugee ministry, youth, understanding culture, building a multicultural leadership team, reaching your East Asian neighbours and the changing face of London.
You can book tickets now on the Global Connections website here.
