Festival Angels

Music festivals and major sporting events are on the increase across the UK. These major events attract tens of thousands of people and are fantastic opportunities for reaching out in creative ways with the message of God’s love. Festival Network is a way of sharing ideas and resources to equip the church to better serve the people at these events. At music festivals we support things like Prayer Café’s, Street Angel style detached teams, water distribution, running Lost Property. There is also the ​“Jesus Loves Festivals” branding which can be made available for banners or flag-poles as well as the ​“Jesus Loves Festivals” Gospels. At sporting events, including Royal Ascot, Goodwood, and Tour de France Grande Departe we have offered detached teams who are available as people leave the venues (offering bottles of water, directions, friendly chat, etc) and encourage church buildings to open up as a place for hot drinks, toilets and opportunity to connect with the wider community.
