On Tuesday 27 June, MPs, civil servants, and church leaders will gather in Westminster for the Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast – an annual event that gives recognition to the contribution that Christianity makes to British society.

The prayer breakfast has been known to attract MPs of all faiths and none. It is an opportunity for policymakers to hear a gospel-centred message that is appropriate for a wide range of contexts for political leaders in public life. This year Amy Orr-Ewing will be speaking on The power of forgiveness in public life’.

Each MP will receive an invite to the Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast from Christians in Parliament — the organisers of the event. However, receiving a personal invite from a constituent can often be even more compelling.

If you are a church leader, we want to encourage you to sign up to attend the prayer breakfast and email your MP to invite them to attend with you, using the form below.

We have provided some suggestions in the form below as a guide of what you could say, but we encourage you to use your own words to make the invite more personal.
