Sea gods, forbidden fruit and sex selection

This week Northern Ireland made the news globally when a statute of a sea god in Binevenagh was cut down and stolen. There was a certain irony in someone breaking the 8th commandment to uphold the first commandment. Also, Apple announced record breaking profits of £12 billion in one financial quarter. For many, it is more likely that the forbidden fruit - Apple - will become the idol of the current age.

Finally, Fiona Bruce MP is trying to change the law to outlaw abortions based solely on the grounds of gender. The opposition to this injustice is coming from feminists who want to protect choice even if that choice is to terminate the life of an unborn child simply because it is female. What stand are you taking against idolatry and injustice?
