  The Evangelical Alliance in Wales longs to see Christians engaging with their public representatives, praying for them and seeking to build long-lasting relationships where church-led community projects or the work of Christian charities across Wales are recognised, valued and celebrated.

As Christians, churches and faith leaders, we want to encourage our elected leaders and not just those we agree with. We want Christians to be known as ​‘good news’ people in every sphere. Therefore, may we not take for granted the opportunity to become active citizens. May we engage with our political representatives in a way that fosters trust, encouragement and partnership. In our engagement may our speech and conduct represent Christ and the gospel well.
