  This recording concludes our two-part webinar series looking at the rise of [Christian nationalism](https://www.eauk.org/what-we-do/advocacy/politics-briefing-flag-faith-and-kingdom-engaging-with-christian-nationalism) and Islam in public discourse and British politics and enabling Christians to engage confidently with both topics.

We were delighted to have Dr Andy Bannister (Director of Solas Centre for Public Christianity, author and commenter on Islam) and John Ghanim a Yemeni-born convert from Islam.

**Their joint contributions on the webinar:**

- Explored the theological differences between Christianity and Islam

- Offered perspective on the rise of Islam in the political sphere

- Challenged believers to not be indifferent to the prominence of Islam in public life

- Gave practical pointers on how to share the gospel with Muslims.

This was a really inspiring conversation that we hope will encourage every Christian, whether serving within a church ministry, active in the local community or in the workplace, to share openly and confidently about the hope they have in the good news of Jesus.
