Much has been written about the decline of the church in the West, yet in recent years a different story has emerged: a growing and unexpected interest in Christian faith among non-believers. From celebrities and students to prisoners and those on society’s margins, many are choosing to follow Jesus.

The Evangelical Alliance’s *Finding Jesus* research explores this trend, asking who these people are, what prompted their search and how they came to faith. This report summarises those findings and offers insights to help the UK church respond to this surprising movement.

Join us as we explore the stories and statistics behind the *Finding Jesus* research and reflect on what it means for how we disciple and extend welcome within our churches and ministry contexts.

## Event details

- Tuesday 28 April 2026
- Location: Cornerstone Church, 90 Castle Boulevard, Nottingham, NG7 1FP
- Arrive from 10am for refreshments for a 10.15am start, event concluding by 12.30pm
- On-site parking is available

The session will be led by Mark Hopkins, regional unity champion (East Midlands), Rachael Heffer, head of mission, and Lydia Gilbertson, mission and communications assistant.
