  #### We believe that when God’s people unite together in prayer, God’s kingdom breaks through in new and powerful ways. IDOP 2021 was an opportunity to stand together with the most persecuted and cried out to God.

 

  Our online prayer event marked International Day of Prayer (IDOP) for the persecuted church on Sunday, 7 November 2021. We joined our friends at [Open Doors](https://www.opendoorsuk.org/), [CSW](https://www.csw.org.uk/home.htm) and [Release International](https://releaseinternational.org/). This jointly-hosted webinar featured the latest news, testimonies and prayer requests from Nigeria, Eritrea and India.

In addition, we followed up on the shocking news of Afghanistan being taken over by the Taliban, providing updates on how this impacted the small number of Christians there.

“Truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.” Matthew 18:19
