In addition to the teaching weekends, participants will be invited to discovery events’ throughout the year. These events allow us to meet leaders in their context and understand some of the key institutions and spheres that shape society. In previous years we have visited parliament and held a private meeting with an MP; toured the British Museum to consider the historical story presented; heard from a panel of leaders in different areas of the arts; and attended a walking tour of London visiting sites associated with public leaders like William Wilberforce and Elizabeth Fry.

At the end of the course participants will be invited to join the alumni network and attend exclusive events such as a summer BBQ, Christmas social and media masterclass.

We’re still finalising speakers for 2019 – 20. Previous speakers include:

Paul Kahn (president of communications & connectivity sector, Cobham plc)

Jill Garrett (Tentpeg Consulting, CliftonStrengths coach)

Emma Sykes (leadership specialist, CPAS)

Christopher Landau (former BBC journalist)

Ram Gidoomal (businessman)

Dr Chloe Lynch (Lecturer in Practical Theology, LST)

Dr Dave Landrum (director of advocacy, Evangelical Alliance).
