How can I make a difference by speaking up and speaking out?

We live in a time when our words and actions as Christians, are under more scrutiny than ever before. Cancel culture’ and individualism are prevalent in today’s society and as a result it can feel like an easier option to withhold our evangelical point of view around the dinner table, at work, or in our communities.

The temptation can be for Christians to either withdraw from the world and surrounding culture, or to feel that we must put ourselves in the line of opposition, constantly fighting a culture war. However, we believe there is a better way.

As Christians, we are called to be in the world but not of the world (John 17:15). This means we are to take an active role in our workplaces and communities, whilst keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus. We can be the salt and light, enriching the culture and reflecting the goodness of Jesus (Matthew 5:13 – 16) Christians can be involved in public life and our communities, in the hope that God might work through us, redeeming both culture and people, as He has promised.

Whatever your job or vocation, God has placed you there for a purpose. He can use you to glorify Himself in the way you live, work, and speak. By loving our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31) we share the grace we have received through Jesus and point to the worth given to each person by our Creator. When we are open about our faith and willing to share, we present people with an opportunity to know more about Him, a step that could have eternal significance.

We want to equip you to be brave and excited when sharing your faith with others, and live whole-heartedly for Jesus, understanding the legal freedoms and protection you have. Our prayer is that each of these resources will help you as you serve your Heavenly Father.

His master replied, Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’” – Matthew 25:23
