Lucy Ounity programmes manager

I'm a born-and-bred southeast Londoner and have been at the Alliance since September 2012. Before this I studied Development and Social Anthropology at SOAS and was an administrator with the Salvation Army in London.

My role as unity programmes manager involves coordinating a range of projects focusing on church unity and evangelism – encouraging churches to work together to see God's kingdom come across our villages, towns and cities. I am especially passionate about seeing unity amid ethnic diversity – celebrating the reality that we are all united as God's family. So I love being involved in our One People Commission, an exciting initiative bringing together key leaders from a wide range of church and ethnic backgrounds.

I love the working environment at the Alliance where we are not just colleagues, but a supportive and loving family. I am really passionate about the core business of the Alliance –unity – "How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity!" (Psalm 133:1).
