Solomon Osagie
Solomon is leading General Counsel at a UK bank and has worked in financial services and in academia for many years. He studied law and international relations at Cambridge and holds postgraduate degrees from Kings College and Anglia Ruskin. Dr Osagie worked in private practice and then moved into industry. Dr Osagie has been recognised for his work with nominations for General Counsel of the year, Lawyer of the Year and entries in the FT lawyer rankings as well as the Legal 500. He sits on the cross-border payments committee of UK Finance and is a member of the governing council of Cranfield University. Solomon is a member of Kensington Temple, London City Church and has spoken often about his faith and the Judeo-Christian values that have influenced the ethical, legal and moral frameworks of much of society and how this intersects with the personal and public places of thought in a manner that is often largely unrecognised. A qualified neuroscientist, Solomon is a fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health. He is married to Linda, and they have 2 children.
