We are the Evangelical Alliance. We are made up of hundreds of Christian charities, organisations and businesses, all seeking to serve God and love their neighbour.

Like the evangelicals who have gone before us – those who abolished the slave trade, those who reformed our justice system, those who championed education for all – our members are dedicated to blessing those around us as together we worship God with all that we have and all that we are.

Today, it is evangelicals who are at the heart of debt counselling, street pastors, night shelters and food banks. Today, it is active evangelical faith, in politics, education, evangelism, church planting, the arts and every other aspect of culture, which is making a profound difference throughout our communities for the sake of the gospel. Our members speak up on behalf of those who are maligned and marginalised, affirming freedoms, and proclaiming the good news of Jesus in words and in action.

The Evangelical Alliance exists to help you work together with other evangelicals to see our lives and communities changed, to make Jesus known.

Become a member organisation

Becoming a member organisation of the Evangelical Alliance is easy:

Step 1: Make sure that your organisation meets our requirements for membership.

Step 2: Affirm our basis of faith and relationship commitments.

Step 3: Fill out our organisational membership form, including the contact details of two references of church or Christian organisation leaders (at least one of whom must be leading an Evangelical Alliance member church or organisation).

Applications are sent to our membership committee on receipt of a completed direct debit form and two satisfactory references for final confirmation.

Can your organisation be a member of the Evangelical Alliance?

We have a short set of requirements that organisations need to meet in order to qualify for Evangelical Alliance membership:

  • Your organisation must be based or operating in the UK and have been established in the UK for more than two years. If it is based in another country, please visit the World Evangelical Alliance website to find your local evangelical network.
  • We ask that your organisation agrees with our Basis of Faith and abides by the Evangelical Relationships Commitment. In addition, members should ensure that their integrity, both personal and corporate, is beyond question in all aspects of their life and ministry so that the credibility of the gospel is maintained.
  • We ask for two references from local evangelical churches or organisations, at least one of which must be a member of the Evangelical Alliance.
  • We ask for an annual membership contribution based on the sliding scale below.
