Ethos: A new digital pathway for the spiritually curious

The Evangelical Alliance's Being Human team has launched Ethos, a free digital pathway designed to reach the spiritually curious.

At a time when growing numbers of people are open to faith, are experimenting with spiritual practices, Ethos offers something distinctive: a way to explore faith through giving it a go! The resource begins with a short quiz that helps users identify where their values and everyday habits fall out of alignment. From there, it offers personalised insights into how they are wired, before suggesting simple spiritual practices which point them toward Jesus.

Katherine Brown, co-lead of Being Human said: "As I speak to young adults around the country, I’m struck by how many young adults are spiritually open. They’re searching for the transcendent, looking for things with ancient roots to help ground them and asking questions about meaning and purpose. We created Ethos with them in mind. It helps young adults try out the Christian faith before they believe.”

Peter Lynas, UK director of the Evangelical Alliance and co-lead of Being Human, said: "We are living in a time of incredible openness. People are spiritually curious, and the church needs new ways to engage them. Ethos offers ancient practices for modern life. We really believe this free digital pathway will help many on their journey of encountering Jesus.”

BEING HUMAN

Being Human is an initiative by the Evangelical Alliance, helping everyday Christians live out and share the good, true and beautiful biblical vision of what it means to be human.

About the Evangelical Alliance

We are the Evangelical Alliance. We join together hundreds of organisations, thousands of churches and tens of thousands of individuals for the sake of the gospel. Representing our members since 1846, the Evangelical Alliance is the oldest and largest evangelical unity movement in the UK.

We love Jesus and we want everyone in the UK to be given an opportunity to know Him.

We love His church, and we will do all we can to unite evangelicals, building confidence in the gospel and speaking as a trusted voice into society to see it changed for Him.

Working across the UK, with offices in London, Cardiff, Glasgow and Belfast, our members come together from across denominations, locations, age groups and ethnicities, all sharing a passion to know Jesus and make Him known.
