Main aim

To mobilise as many people to pray and fast. It’s about the whole body humbling itself under God’s mighty hand and a committing to three days of contending prayer and fasting.

There are three biblical themes for the event:

1. A fresh commitment to prayer – seeking God with humility and hunger.

2. A fresh commitment to consecration – returning to holiness and wholehearted obedience.

3. A fresh commitment to bold living – courageously witnessing and living out the gospel with clarity and power.

Turn The Battle has garnered support from HTB and the HTB network, Evangelical Alliance, Assemblies of God, New Testament Church of God, Pioneer, Fusion, Catalyst, 24/7 Prayer, Prayer Storm, World Prayer Centre, Premier Radio, UCB, God TV and many other local churches, movements and prayer communities.

To get involved, save the dates 21 – 23 January 2026, and visit turnthebattle.uk to access downloadable resources and find out more.

Turn The Battle prayer for the three days of prayer

Father,

We come as your people, called by your name across these nations – England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland.

We humble ourselves before you, acknowledging our need, our failings, and our deep dependence on your mercy and grace.

We choose to pray. We pause, we turn aside, and we intentionally make room for your presence in our churches, our homes, and our daily rhythms.

We seek Your face above every earthly solution, above politics, programmes, or strategies. We want you more than answers – we want your presence. Let our eyes be lifted to the hills, from where our help comes.

We turn from our wicked ways. We repent of pride, compromise, idolatry, and self-reliance. Cleanse us. Consecrate us. Restore to us a holy fire. Reawaken our hearts to love what you love, and hate what you hate.

Revive your church again, O Lord, in holiness and power.

Turn the battle at the gate, O God. Let the tide turn in our day.

Pour out your Spirit without measure across the British Isles.

Unite your church, awaken your bride.

Let Your Kingdom come in fullness.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.
