The polls project a change of government but, whatever the result, it’s important for local churches and evangelicals to participate and speak up in a hope-filled way.
This is the first election since the Senedd Cymru (Members and Election) Act became law. The Act:
Increased the number of Member of Senedd (MSs) from 60 to 96.
Introduced 16 new constituencies and a different voting system.
These elections will be hotly contested if the recent Caerphilly by-election result last October is anything to go by. Several predictions poll Labour in third place. If this were to happen it would be the first time in 40 years Wales was not led by a Labour majority Government.
