All over the world, women experience violence and injustice, regardless of background, culture or circumstance. These issues are often hidden or difficult to talk about, yet they matter deeply to God.

The International Women’s Day theme for this year is ‘Give to gain’ and so we invite you to join us as women of all cultures come together to worship, reflect and engage thoughtfully with some of the pressing challenges facing women in the UK. We want to create a space rooted in faith, compassion and hope, where we listen, pray and seek God’s wisdom together.

The event will include a time of worship and prayer, and focus on four key areas:

  • AI and the undressing of women – exploring how new technologies are being misused and the impact this has on women’s dignity and safety.
  • The impact of violence on women during civil upheaval – considering how conflict and instability disproportionately affect women around the world.
  • Church and women – reflecting on women’s experiences and voices, and how churches can better support women and girls.
  • Domestic abuse – acknowledging the reality of abuse and the importance of awareness, support and compassionate response.

This gathering is a meaningful moment to pause, reflect and stand together. You don’t need to have answers, just a willingness to listen and engage.

Together we want to seek God’s heart for justice, healing and hope, believing that even small, faithful conversations can lead to transformation.

Join us for this free event on 7 March 2026, with brunch at the Evangelical Alliance offices in King’s Cross, London.

Time: 10 – 12.30pm (Doors open at 9.45am)
