### Week one: Hope

  ### Lord Jesus, Hope incarnate, we turn to You.
In this season, as many of us are weary,
with heads bowed under the pressure of life,
Grant us grace to see the hope that is in You this Christmas

That God has heard,
Christ has come,
Hope is here.

Amen

  ### Week two: Peace

  ### Jesus, wonderful Counsellor, Prince of peace,
You have come into a violent, broken world to bring Shalom.
Your presence offers wellness and rest in the midst of uncertainty and storms.
May your peace fall upon us afresh this Christmas season.

The Prince of peace
Who leaves us His peace
Is with us.

Amen

  ### Week three: Joy

  ### Jesus, joy bringer,
At your birth the heavenly choirs sang in celebration,
Something spectacular had happened – joy had come to a joyless world.
Lord, many are struggling to find joy in this season,
There is a cloud of weariness upon us.
May we find in You and in one another, a joy in the life-changing news –
Christ has come.

Bringer of joy,
May your presence transform sorrow to joy
This Christmas season.

Amen

  ### Week four: Love

  ### Jesus, you have shown us what love truly is.
It is unrestricted, lavish, abundant and beautiful.
It is seen in a word, an action, a sacrificial sign that says
Each person is worth it.
At a time when many feel alone, unloved, abandoned,
May we, in the power of your Holy Spirit,
demonstrate love this Christmas season.

Jesus, Lover of the world,
Fill us with your love this Christmas
and may we be channels of your love to others.

Amen
