This 10-month leadership development journey equips and encourages young professionals and emerging leaders like you to intentionally and strategically take the lead so that you can make a difference wherever you are.

We understand that the past few years have shaken our society to its core, and we need Christians to step up and serve in the wisdom and power of God.

The Public Leader programme is designed for those who want to see every aspect of our culture transformed by the good news of Jesus, regardless of their vocation or role.

Whether your interests lie in the creative, civic, financial, community or elsewhere, as long as you want to know Jesus more deeply, serve Him more fully and see His kingdom come wherever you are – this programme will coach you to think strategically and intentionally take the lead and make a positive impact wherever you are.

By participating in the Public Leader programme, you’ll gain the skills and knowledge you need to become a culture-shaping Christian leader in your vocation, role, or sector. We’re committed to building a growing geographical, cross-sector, intergenerational, and increasingly digital network of Christian public leaders passionate about following Jesus and leading by His Spirit.

Through this journey, you’ll grow into your unique leadership role, as you seek to follow Jesus wherever you are called. Join us in intentionally and strategically taking the lead, making a significant impact, and transforming our culture with the good news of the Kingdom.

The Public Leader programme

The Public Leader programme is a 10-month journey which has been developed and delivered by the Evangelical Alliance to equip emerging leaders to follow Jesus and make a significant impact in every walk of life.

This year we will deliver Public Leader programmes in England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, as we help each of our participants grow into their unique roles of leadership as they seek to follow Jesus wherever they are called.

We are looking forward to be introducing a Wales programme in 2024, but for now applicants based in Wales are more than welcome to apply to any of the national programmes. The England programme will take place in the northwest of England in 2023 – 24, which may work well for Wales-based applicants.
